Comparing Two Adverts
The advertisement for the Malibu Rum advert is offering you the alcoholic drink Malibu, i would say the hidden message in this advertisement would be like if you drunk the drink you would be having a good time like the actors in the advert are trying to prove. I would personally say the target audienceadvert would be the age of 18 considering that anyone who consumes alcohol under that age it is against the law for them. So i would say the age 18 up to 40 purely because of the people in this advertisement the age range is a pure mixture an its directing upon all ages who like to have a drink.
The techniques used in this would not be for something like an emotional response as the advert is more energetic, hyperactive an up beat with that message coming across its showing viewers what they are missing out on so it is persuasive for the audience. t

Thoughts about the advert:
My thoughts about this advert are imposing that this woman seems to be craving attention and maybe high maintenance as the men seem to be looking at her like raw meat.
Denotation on the advert is D&G and imposing something they are selling maybe new range of clothes. The connotation of the advert is that D&G are trying to show the public that what they will buy off them will conclude on you looking sexy and also feeling that way.
I would say the advert are trying to convince the target audience that they are sexy they are beautiful and their product initiate that to anyone buying off them.
People of the audience may have protested against the advert because it is very sexual as it looks like the woman is being subjected to something sexual and the audience may find it disturbing and definitely offensive.

Band advert.
The advert I have chosen is a ford sports KA and its selling point is that it is an upgrade from the original KA claiming to be its evil twin as a pigeon lands onto the bonnet and it automatically lifts up killing the bird, which connects correctly to its selling point by being the evil twin.
